The Recyclers

This game is created for the Twitch 2024 Game Jam!

To enable twitch integrations enter the twitch verification settings menu in the main menu.

Gameplay:

There are 2 phases of the game: Day and Night. 

Night:
- During the night phase your job as the player is to purchase buildings and workers with the money made by selling the garbage created during the day previous.
- It is recommended that you initially buy 1 compactor, 1 worker, and 1 storage unit before starting day 1

Day:

- During the day, your job as the player is to manage the workers to ensure that an influx of garbage does not occur. When a worker is sent to work at the collection station, he will collect garbage and bring it to the compacter. When a worker is stationed at the compacter he will use the compacter, and bring the finished compacted cubes to storage where they can then be sold.
- To direct a worker, left click on the worker so they are outlined, and then select a workstation (the blue stations on the ground), A path will be created and the worker will now be assigned to this new workstation.

Upgrades:

- As you go throughout the game you will recieve upgrades which will provide you more money as well as a negative side affect, be careful to balance these as the game progresses.
